STI EP060605-T EnviroArmour Polycarbonate Controller
The EP060605-T is a networked multi-door access controller built in injection-molded polycarbonate for environments where standard metal enclosures create RF interference, corrosion risk, or aesthetic conflicts. This unit supports up to 7 doors per controller and communicates via TCP/IP, enabling direct integration into access management systems without proprietary gateways. UL/cUL certified (UL 6 EP242410-O), finished in RAL 7035 gray, and rated 44dB(A) for sound output — useful data if your installation occupies a noise-sensitive zone or shared facility.
Compatibility
The EP060605-T integrates with standard TCP/IP access control platforms and pairs with conventional door readers, electric strikes, request-to-exit devices, and auxiliary control outputs typical in multi-door deployments. Suitable for office buildings, commercial facilities, secured entry zones, and retrofit scenarios where a networked controller replaces older proprietary hardware. Verify your VMS or access management platform supports TCP/IP controller communication — this unit does not work with systems requiring dedicated serial or proprietary interfaces.
Installation Notes
Conduit entry is flexible: polycarbonate housing accepts standard hub sizes from ½″ to 2″ DIA with appropriate hole drilling per installation documentation. Non-metallic conduit does not require grounding bushings; metallic conduit must be grounded per code. Align conduit carefully to avoid unnecessary stress on enclosure walls. Internal device mounting plate and grounding provisions are built in — follow provided installation diagrams for proper ground wire lugs and bonding, particularly in jurisdictions requiring compliance with Canadian or US electrical codes for non-metallic enclosures.
